Where Townhall is used
From a film festival to city participatory budgeting to a youth policy forum.
Busan International Film Festival 2024
Townhall ran the Community BIFF audience programmer vote, and gathered questions for directors and actors plus satisfaction surveys across some 30 programmes.
Incheon participatory budgeting vote
Residents pick the budget projects themselves. Turnout rose from 1,710 people to more than 10,000 in the year Townhall was introduced.
Social dialogue on the future of Korean education
Some 700 people discussed in about 80 groups. Each group's proposal became a ballot item on the spot, with results shown live on screen.
Seoul Education Office townhall meeting
The superintendent sat down with a citizens' panel. For each agenda item, yes and no pile up on the stage dashboard as people, live.
10th Incheon Youth Policy Forum
Young people proposed and chose policies themselves. Even delicate topics such as drug prevention drew candid input.
100-minute debate on the future of Sejong education
Townhall powered the question page and ran the debate floor. Keywords from participants gathered on screen to open the discussion.
304 Yellow Tables, 12th Sewol ferry memorial
Citizens around yellow tables in the square shared their views by phone. Large-scale voting support was refined alongside this event.
